Challenge

There was a challenge at our local craft store to use certain papers (Will have to remember what they were called OOPs) so this is what I cam up with. I love it.

It is a pity that the photos just don't do it justice.

Had a ball of a time making this card and felt so happy I had made something that I liked.

Leaves leaves and more leaves

I like this card. The SU French Foliage is such a versatile stamp set. I like the card above as it was simple but effective.

The card below I decided to use a couple more of the SU French Foliage stamps to adjust it slightly, and also changed the colours of the leaves on the ribbon.

Quite proud of these cards...

PDCC93

I am not a big fan on pinks of any kind and so..... a friend and I tried to make a card with the Watermelon, Sorbet and Lime and try "The Play Date Cafe challenge #93" .... and I must admit the Sorbet (which looks like a little bit like it is pink) is not my favourite colour lol.

Enjoyed making this card in the end. Hope you enjoy. Please leave some comments... feeling a little loney lol.

Some randoms

I really like this card. A couple of weeks ago I made this card and a friend came over and I showed her and my son how to make it. It was such a simple card. I don't usually go for brown cards and usually like bright cards but this makes me happy.

There are so many beautiful cards and card makers out there and sometimes I get so argghhhhhhh knowing which ones to keep going back to. I want to read every single blog out there but I can't. I don't know how anyone does it. Thank you for stopping by and commenting it is so exciting to get to my computer and see a comment... I am like a kid in a candy store lol.

Wanna see some more cards? Ok lol will show you some more :-)

The same friend I was talking about above showed me the pink concept of this card. Usually I go for the oranges and yellows for a sunset or rise but the pink is perfect. How cool is this card. Thanks my friend for showing me this. Love this card.

Patterned Paper Color Trends Challenge

I have been so busy the last couple of days and I have made quite a few cards and will put it up in the next couple of days but this card from the patterned paper color trends challenge was made tonight.... wohoo....

I really loved the colours and was so excited to get in my room and create, but alas it is 10.15pm and I need to get to bed as I have work early in the morning. (Thank you Tracy your card was certainly inspiration to check out the site and try the challenge).

Please leave a comment as it makes me feel great and like my cards are worth it.

I have been looking at a lot of blogs lately and isn't it amazing how when you first start a blog peoples cards are ok but as they do it more and more their cards just keep on getting better. So much to learn and so little time LOL.

Enjoy.

Less is More - Week 25

I haven't done a card challenge before so thought I might try one.

I am not sure if this works as a "Less is More" card but thought I would put it in. Most people have done a white card background for the less is more challenge. I wonder if white is the compulsory colour for less is more???

Anyway...... this is the Card Challenge at Less is More called "Buttons and More" I love this site and so many beautiful cards from everyone.

Bleaching on card

I enjoyed making this card because it was different and having a go with bleach was fun to see what colour the card would turn out like. The bleach made the poppy parade card go lighter the more times I put the bleach on the card.

It is such a great technique but some cards it doesn't turn out on as well as the colour doesn't turn out.

Stamp: SU Every Moment

Card: Poppy Parade

Ink: Stazon black

Other: Bleach, white ribbon

So many.....

There are so many beautiful card blogs out there and I want to have a go and having a successful card blog like everyone else.

I must admit that it has put me off having to remember what every single product I used was and put it on here but I am going to give it a go.

If I do forget then please excuse me because this is for me to just show off my creations.

I have been making cards for years now but silly me sells them but not actively because they are like little pieces of artwork and I hate to sell something and know you will never make the same thing again. It is like painting and then someone else taking it to their home and I will never get to see it each day.

Silly I know but that is how I feel.

There are so many beautiful card makers out there that I sometimes get so jealous and want to show off my work too... so here we go.
